The role
The National Consultant on Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH) will provide technical expertise to strengthen collective PSEAH arrangements in Viet Nam, including advising senior leadership, facilitating inter-agency working groups, and developing complaint referral mechanisms.
What you'll do
- Advise senior leadership on the development and implementation of a collective in-country PSEAH strategy
- Facilitate the work of an inter-agency SM Working Group for technical coordination on PSEAH
- Convene and facilitate regular Working Group meetings
- Conduct a joint PSEAH risk assessment and provide recommendations
- Develop and strengthen inter-agency complaint referral mechanisms
- Train staff at entry points on good practices in SEA complaint intake and referral
What it takes
- Advanced university degree in social sciences, international development, gender studies, human rights, law, public policy, social work, psychology, international relations, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in gender equality, gender-based violence, and PSEAH, particularly accountability for PSEAH
- Field experience in humanitarian or development settings, ideally in PSEA
- Familiarity with administrative investigation procedures
- Proven ability to develop and/or implement an Action Plan/Strategy
