The role

The National Consultant for Lao PDR will support the ESCAP project by coordinating local fact-finding missions and technical advisory groups to improve peri-urban mobility. The role involves collecting data, performing analysis on digital mobility solutions and just transition impacts, and collaborating with local authorities to develop inclusive transport plans. The incumbent will also facilitate stakeholder consultations and capacity-building workshops to enhance sustainable urban transport policies.
