The role

The National Consultant will lead and coordinate national-level inputs for Outputs 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 of a project aimed at developing digital governance frameworks for power sectors in six beneficiary countries.

  • Lead and coordinate the national-level mapping and diagnostic assessment of digitalization efforts, regulatory frameworks, and institutional capacities in the power sector.
  • Draft and refine the country-specific digital governance framework for integrated and smart grid systems.
  • Support the technical preparation and follow-up of capacity-building activities for policymakers, regulators, and utilities.

What it takes

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in energy, engineering, economics, public policy, digital governance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience in the energy sector, including experience with policy analysis, regulatory frameworks, institutional assessments, or digitalization initiatives.
  • Experience working with government institutions and utilities is required.
