The role
The Multimedia Communication Officer will support the recording, editing, and production of audiovisual content for the World Health Organization’s Communications Unit in Congo, focusing on digital and web materials, social media assets, and event coverage.
What you'll do
- Record interviews, statements, leadership messages, presentations, meetings, events, and other assigned audiovisual content
- Edit interviews, institutional videos, public health stories, leadership messages, event highlights, documentaries, and other assigned productions
- Design video thumbnails and cover images, produce social media cards, quote cards, campaign visuals, event graphics, and other supporting assets
- Support the operation of the Communications Unit’s audiovisual studio and maintain an updated inventory of equipment
- Organize raw footage, project files, photographs, graphics, and final audiovisual products
What it takes
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience recording and editing professional video content
- Experience operating cameras, microphones and lighting equipment
- Experience editing interviews, institutional content or social media videos
- Experience in basic graphic design and image editing
- Experience managing production deadlines and review cycles
