The role
To provide mid-to-senior technical support in monitoring, evaluation, learning, results-based management, programme and/or project performance measurement, data quality and reporting, and evidence-based decision-making for development and institutional programmes.
What you'll do
- Design or support results frameworks, theories of change, logframes, KPIs, indicator matrices, monitoring plans, and learning agendas.
- Support baseline, midline, endline, outcome monitoring, performance reviews, and evaluation planning.
- Develop data collection tools, data quality assurance, verification protocols, dashboards, and reporting systems.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess programme performance, risks, outcomes, and learning.
- Prepare monitoring reports, evaluation briefs, performance summaries, presentations, and recommendations for management action.
- Design, commission, manage, or contribute to evaluations, reviews, assessments, and learning exercises.
What it takes
- University degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Economics, Public Policy, International Development, Social Sciences, Data Science, Evaluation, or a related field.
- 5-20 years of progressively responsible experience in monitoring, evaluation, learning, results-based management, data analysis, or programme performance management.
- Experience designing M&E frameworks, indicators, logframes, evaluations, dashboards, or donor/national reporting systems is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting UN, IFI, government, or major development programmes is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage, particularly for Middle East-based assignments.
