The role

Ektimisi is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting Specialist to support research and capacity-building workstreams, including field data collection, data analysis, and training coordination.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate field data collection with field team leads, enumerators, and project teams
  • Support tool testing, Kobo rollout, field team briefings, and daily fieldwork follow-up
  • Review incoming data for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and quality issues
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data and summarize key findings, risks, patterns, and recommendations
  • Prepare fieldwork updates, data quality notes, analytical summaries, and report sections
  • Lead the coordination and delivery of training assignments, ensuring alignment among clients, trainers, and Ektimisi’s team

What it takes

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in ME&R, research, data collection coordination, data analysis, reporting, training coordination, or humanitarian/development programming
  • Strong English writing skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, summaries, and analytical narratives
  • Proven experience coordinating field teams, enumerators, or trainers
  • Strong Excel and data quality review skills, including cleaning, summary tables, charts, and analysis
  • Good understanding of humanitarian or development project cycles, indicators, research tools, and reporting requirements
  • Strong organization, communication, follow-up, and deadline-management skills
