The role
The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer will provide technical support in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning across operations in Iraq, specifically covering Erbil and Basra.
What you'll do
- Provide technical support in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning across operations in Iraq
- Work with regional and project team members to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, desired outcomes, and progress towards impact
- Travel to and within multiple Governorates in Iraq (KRI and GOI) up to 50% of the time

- At least 3 years of experience in humanitarian and community development projects, specifically within MEAL
- Proven experience of working in and with small and diverse teams
- Proven experience of field work and community & stakeholder engagement for working in the field of monitoring and evaluation of development projects

- Strong knowledge and understanding of indicator refinement, tool development and assessment leading
