The role
Trócaire is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator to support the organization’s MEAL and research functions in the Sudan Country Programme.
What you'll do
- Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the country programme's MEAL system
- Ensure accurate, reliable and useful project data
- Support routine monitoring and performance tracking across projects
- Work closely with partners to strengthen their MEAL capacities
- Support the strengthening of systems that enable communities and programme participants to provide feedback and hold the programme accountable
- Support the development of case studies, learning products and knowledge-sharing resources
What it takes
- MUST hold a degree in Monitoring and Evaluation related field from a Reputable institution
- Minimum 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation
- Experience in conducting rigorous data quality assessments, research pieces and report writing
- Experience in supporting research assistants and consultants for quality data collection, and managing data collection exercises
- Experience in use of digital data collection methods
- Experience with community engagement on MEAL activities
