The role

The Monitoring and Reporting Associate at UN Women Nigeria will support the organization’s mission to advance gender equality and women's empowerment by ensuring accountability, transparency, and evidence-based decision-making across programs. The role involves monitoring and reporting on program performance, facilitating knowledge management, and providing technical support for evaluations.

What you'll do

  • Provide technical inputs to programme formulation to ensure monitoring and reporting is incorporated
  • Coordinate with Programme Team to ensure data collection and analysis from field visits are coordinated and standardized across programmes
  • Facilitate the process of UN Women Nigeria CO meeting internal and external reporting requirements and deadlines, including annual reporting process
  • Contribute substantial inputs to donor and programme reports (both narrative and financial)
  • Provide technical support for evaluations

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in monitoring and reporting of development projects/programmes is desirable
  • Good knowledge of programme formulation, implementation, and Results Based Management
  • Good knowledge of monitoring and evaluation, evaluation design, data collection and analysis, and reporting
