The role
To strengthen the security management system at the Field level, support the implementation of security risk management processes, and enhance the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the guard force and other security arrangements.
What you'll do
- Assist in the development and implementation of the ad hoc Security Risk Management process and Security Plan
- Manage security access control procedures and conduct periodic security assessments
- Provide security briefings and training for personnel
- Advises on the acquisition and inventory control of security-related equipment
- Respond to and assist personnel affected by security incidents
- Work closely with local authorities
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in Security and Risk Management, Political/Social Science, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business Management, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible professional experience in security, emergency, or disaster management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic
- Leadership, planning and organizing, relating and networking, applying technical expertise, adapting to change, coping with pressure, problem-solving, negotiation
- Practical experience in public or private sector security management preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing
