What you'll do

  • Serve as the special education teacher in an Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) classroom.
  • Collaboratively plan and deliver STEM instruction using co-teaching models.
  • Manage IEP documentation including PLOPs and teacher reports.

  • Participate in MTSS meetings and school-based instructional initiatives.

What it takes

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active NYS teaching certification in Students with Disabilities or enrollment in an approved program.
  • Experience with SESIS for IEP management preferred.
  • Relevant urban middle school teaching experience.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
