The role
Mental Health Therapist provide comprehensive assessment, group facilitation, individual therapy, crisis support and care coordination for individuals engaged in Co-Occurring Intensive Outpatient Program designed to support individuals experiencing symptoms of mental health and substance use disorders. Responsible for all clinical documentation of therapeutic interactions.
What you'll do
- Provide diagnostic mental health assessments
- Develop treatment plans; monitor progress and follow-up as clinically indicated
- Facilitate individual's growth with an emphasis on strengths, culture, resiliency, and wellbeing
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to support those served
- Coordinate services for individuals with supplemental needs in psychiatric, case management, and medical domains
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
What it takes
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other human services field required
- Licensed or within 6 months of licensure (preferred)
- LAC (preferred)
- 1 to 2 years of experience in mental health, substance use or human services (preferred)
