The role
Easterseals MORC is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to provide counseling and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Dearborn, MI. This is a part-time, hybrid role with benefits including low-cost insurance, 401K, and paid leave.
What you'll do
- Perform thorough assessments of functional ability
- Provide psychological diagnosis and evaluation
- Develop support plans for individuals
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy
- Prepare and present on the Behavior Support Committee
- Evaluate individual progress towards goals
What it takes
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling
- Licensure as a Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist (TLLP), Limited Licensed Master of Social Work (LLMSW), or Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC) from the State of Michigan
- Minimum of two years of experience providing group and individual counseling
- Valid Michigan driver's license and current auto insurance
- Knowledge and understanding of co-occurring disorders and intellectual and developmental disabilities
