The role
The Mental Health and Psycho-Social Support (MHPSS) Analyst will strengthen institutional and partner capacities, support inter-agency coordination, promote quality assurance and evidence-based programming, and contribute to preparedness and emergency response efforts in the Philippines.
What you'll do
- Conduct rapid assessments of existing MHPSS capacities and service availability
- Lead the adaptation and design of evidence-informed MHPSS interventions
- Develop technical guidance and implementation frameworks
- Support the development of transition and sustainability strategies
- Support emergency preparedness by strengthening national and sub-national capacities
- Represent UNFPA in inter-agency MHPSS coordination mechanisms
What it takes
- At least five years (three years for master’s degree holders) of progressively responsible professional experience in MHPSS
- Experience in GBV/MHPSS at an international level in a humanitarian context
- Demonstrated expertise in the IASC Guidelines on MHPSS in Emergency Settings
- Experience working with UN agencies, humanitarian clusters, NGOs, or government emergency response systems
- Demonstrated experience in developing technical guidance, SOPs, training curricula, and implementation tools
- Ability to work within a team structure, maintain flexibility, and cope with a stressful workload
