The role
UK-Med is seeking a Medical Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to support the procurement, management, and movement of essential medical supplies and equipment for humanitarian programmes and emergency responses.
What you'll do
- Coordinate the full supply-chain pathway from purchasing and receipt through to storage, stock management, shipping and dispatch
- Support the day-to-day operational management of medical commodities
- Ensure appropriate pharmaceutical standards and controls are followed
- Work closely with Supply Chain Manager, Warehouse Manager and Pharmacist
- Support procurement, warehouse and stock management, international shipping, distribution and emergency resupply
- Conduct international travel and deployment as required
