The role
Provides support to patients and co-workers by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, including patient education and assisting with the flow of appointments.
What you'll do
- Assisting patients by responding to reports and coordinating services from appropriate personnel or departments as needed.
- Providing patient education on birth control methods and reproductive health services.
- Optimizing patient satisfaction and efficient use of provider time by providing patient education during each type of visit.
- Preparing exam rooms, rooming patients, assisting the clinician, performing lab tests, providing injections, ordering and maintaining supplies.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- National Medical Assistant Certification
- 1-2 years in a healthcare setting (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications. Experience with electronic health records (preferred)
