Provides support to patients and co-workers by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks in a health center, including patient education and assisting with patient flow.
What you'll do
- Assisting patients by responding to reports and coordinating services from appropriate personnel or departments as needed.
- Providing patient education on birth control methods and reproductive health services.
- Optimizing patient satisfaction and efficient use of provider time by providing patient education to each type of visit.
- Preparing exam rooms, rooming patients, assisting the clinician, performing lab tests, providing injections, and ordering and maintaining supplies.
