The Media Communications Specialist will support the Bureau for Management Services (BMS) at UNDP by enhancing internal and external communication strategies. What you'll do
- Design and implement the BMS Communication Strategy
- Provide advise on internal and external communication to showcase UNDP operational blueprint
- Promote the further development of microsite for the Operational Blue print
- Develop a regular newsletter to promote BMS work and advancement of initiatives
- Build strong relationships inside BMS and with partners to ensure appropriate product oversight and organizational buy in required for the product vision to be realized
- Support the creation of social media accounts for new products and services to ensure coherence and deliverability
What it takes
- Advanced degree in Communications or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in social media management
- Experience with web and online management systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Photo editing and graphic design experience
- Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language desirable
