The role
The incumbent will carry out detailed mechanical design for building projects including schools, hospitals, clinics, shelters, warehouses and rehousing projects in accordance with Agency’s needs, policies, design criteria, standards, local and international codes of practice.

- Carries out detailed mechanical design for building projects including schools, hospitals, clinics, shelters, warehouses and rehousing projects
- Contributes to the preparation of tender documents related to mechanical works
- Searches for emerging models and technologies to identify new materials and techniques
- Provides technical advice on alteration works of Agency premises
- Liaises with construction teams during implementation period

- At least four years of relevant experience, including at least two years in design including public buildings and developmental projects
- Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic
- Experience with mechanical design software and computer aided design such as AutoCAD
- University degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university/institution
