The role
The MEAL Officer (Humanitarian) will facilitate effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of humanitarian program activities funded through the Humanitarian Fund across all Area and Field Offices. The role involves ensuring data quality, reporting compliance, and system strengthening for humanitarian programming.
What you'll do
- Facilitate and develop data management mechanisms to be in line with SCI MEAL procedure
- Collect, consolidate, and clarify quality data on field-level information against output indicators from the Log frame for all humanitarian thematic sectors
- Manage monthly collection of all humanitarian project outputs from Area Offices and update the Country Office (CO) output tracker within strict deadlines
- Coach, guide, and build MEAL capacity across Area Offices to effectively collect, manage, and utilize their relevant humanitarian data
What it takes
- Bachelor degree holder (relevant education/qualification)
- At least 2 years’ experience in M&E field
- Good experience and knowledge in IT skills
- Excellent personal organisational skills, including time management, and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
