The role

What you'll do
- Develop and support the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing review of a comprehensive Site Security Plan and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Work in partnership with contract security teams to implement effective security coverage and staffing
- Conduct audits of the contract security teams to ensure expectations are met
- Administer access-control and badging procedures
- Coordinate and monitor site-specific training, post orders, emergency-response procedures, and recurring training for Security personnel
- Partner with the Operations team to aid in the efficient movement of guests in museum spaces

- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) Board Certification or equivalent education
- Minimum ten years of experience in investigations, large facility protection, vulnerability assessments, emergency response, and event security
- Minimum five years of experience leading and developing a security team
