Manager Payroll and Analytics

The role

Provides leadership and oversight of Agency-wide payroll and posting operations, leads the monitoring and annual distribution of Provident Fund accounts, implements robust internal controls, and oversees the continuous improvements to payroll systems and processes.

What you'll do

• Provides leadership and oversight of Agency-wide payroll and posting operations
• Leads the monitoring and annual distribution of Provident Fund accounts
• Implements robust internal controls and oversees continuous improvements to payroll systems and processes
• Provides authoritative advice and guidance to HQ and field teams
• Leads the organization's people analytics function
• Coordinates responses to external and internal auditors

What it takes

• Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in public or business administration, human resources management, or a related discipline
• Professional project management certification
• At least seven years of progressively responsible relevant experience in human resources management
• Three years or relevant experience at a supervisory level in a large international, governmental or commercial organization
• Detailed knowledge of UN and/or UNRWA Regulations, Rules and Directives
• Working knowledge and experience in the Middle East, and knowledge of Middle Eastern culture
