The role

The Manager of Impact, Africa will support the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet in measuring their contribution to impact through evaluations, monitoring, and learning. They will be responsible for establishing routine work components and ensuring efficient management.

What you'll do

  • Provide backend impact data quality assurance for all Africa transactions
  • Support the team in designing and managing ongoing reflection, sense-making, and learning from the work to inform potential shifts in strategy when necessary
  • Onboard, train and operationalize Impact functions in country teams, solution teams and hiring monitoring evaluation and learning consultants

  • 7-10 years expertise in monitoring, evaluation, and learning
  • Advanced degree in relevant subjects such as economics or public policy with strong training in evaluation, monitoring and learning
  • Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment
