The role
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the ESPOIR project across Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso, ensuring strategic direction, quality implementation, and effective coordination within a consortium.
What you'll do
- Ensure that program implementation contributes to child protection, prevention, liberation, reintegration, and long-term well-being of children associated with armed forces and groups (CAAFAG)
- Provide strategic leadership for integrating child protection priorities into program implementation and consortium engagement
- Promote evidence-based advocacy initiatives addressing root causes of child recruitment and support sustainable reintegration and social inclusion of affected children
- Represent Save the Children and the consortium in national and regional mechanisms related to child protection, CAAC, and coordination
What it takes
- Master's degree in international development, humanitarian affairs, social sciences, project management or related fields
- Minimum 7 years of progressive responsibility in managing complex humanitarian and resilience programs
- At least 5 years of experience managing multi-country and multi-sectoral programs
- Proven experience managing consortiums and partnerships with national NGOs
- Experience working with institutional donors such as GFFO, ECHO, World Bank, EU, BHA, UNICEF or others
- Strong financial management and donor compliance experience
