The role

WaterAid America is seeking a relationship-driven Major Gifts Officer to build meaningful relationships with donors and generate philanthropic revenue that advances WaterAid’s mission.

What you'll do

Manage a major-gifts portfolio
Develop personalized donor strategies
Secure high five-figure and low six-figure gifts
Maintain accurate donor records in Salesforce
Support cultivation, solicitation, renewal and stewardship planning
Participate in portfolio reviews and revenue forecasting

What it takes

Bachelor’s degree and/or five years of fundraising experience
Experience managing a donor portfolio
Success in closing high five-figure gifts
Strong communication and analytical skills
Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
