The role
CAMBA is seeking a Maintenance Driver to operate vehicles, perform maintenance tasks, and transport passengers and supplies at their drop-in center in Brooklyn, NY.
What you'll do
- Operate company vehicles to transport passengers and supplies
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on facilities and clients' apartments
- Clean exterior grounds and move furniture and supplies
- Fulfill security and/or courier/messenger tasks
- Complete defensive driving classes and remain insurable
- Adhere to CAMBA's transportation policy
What it takes
- Valid New York State Driver's License with excellent driving history
- Complete NYS Approved Defensive Driving Classes every 3 years
- Pass Refresher Computerized Defensive Driver class
- Remain insurable based on CAMBA's point system
- Score at least 80% on 15 passenger van improvement test annually (if required)
- Pass observed Van Road Test (if required)
