FHI 360 is seeking a Clinical Physician to support HIV care and treatment services at the Ambulatory Treatment Center (CTA) in Fann, Senegal. The role involves managing daily clinical operations, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring high-quality patient care from screening through treatment follow-up. The physician will oversee infection control protocols, manage clinical data via the E-tracker, and collaborate with community stakeholders to improve patient outcomes.
What you'll do
- Manage daily clinical activities and HIV services for high-risk populations.
- Ensure accurate patient documentation and reporting using E-tracker and DHIS2.
- Coordinate with community actors to improve treatment adherence and viral suppression.
- Maintain functional clinical equipment and manage ARV medication stocks.
- Provide professional health education and counseling to clients.
What it takes
- State Diploma of Doctor of Medicine (specialization in infectious diseases is an asset).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- Proven experience in HIV care for vulnerable populations.
