The role

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all logistics activities related to the core pipeline operations. The role ensures the timely, safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement, storage, handling, and delivery of pipeline materials, equipment, and related resources from suppliers and storage locations to project sites.

What you'll do

  • Establish and operationalize the pipeline logistics structure, tools and workflows.
  • Set up effective stock management, tracking, replenishment and reporting mechanisms.
  • Coordinate initial procurement, transportation, warehousing and pre-positioning of pipeline supplies.
  • Ensure smooth handover and coordination with the Supply Chain Specialist and relevant field teams.

What it takes

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in related field.
  • Experience in the humanitarian sector: 3 years.
  • Experience on a similar position: 3 years.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics management, including procurement, transportation, warehousing and stock management.
  • Experience in pipeline and inventory planning, forecasting and replenishment.
  • Strong understanding of international freight and last-mile delivery operations.
