The role
The Livelihood and Economic Inclusion Associate will support the operationalization of strategic vision for livelihoods and economic inclusion efforts, collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance self-reliance among refugees and host communities.
What you'll do
- Explore partnerships with stakeholders to enhance economic inclusion of UNHCR PoC
- Work with the multi-functional team on socioeconomic and wealth ranking surveys
- Participate in necessary assessments and impact assessments
- Support livelihoods interventions to ensure market-based approaches
- Liaise with partners and authorities on livelihoods related issues
- Prepare field reports and make recommendations for interventions
What it takes
- 3-5 years relevant experience with a High School Diploma or 2 years with a Bachelor's degree
- Experience in facilitating economic inclusion of vulnerable groups
- Knowledge about latest development in the livelihoods sector, including broader UN processes on SDGs and Global Compact on Refugees
- Proficiency in at least one local language (B2 level)
- Experience in coordination, community mobilization, communication, monitoring and evaluation of livelihood projects
- Solid experience in socio-economic data analysis
