The role

Aspire Health and Community Services is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support their Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) team in a 24-hour crisis stabilization setting. The role involves providing specialized care, monitoring medication administration, and facilitating health and wellness groups for adults in a voluntary alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. This position requires working Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 3 PM.

What you'll do

  • Monitor and document medication self-administration during shifts.
  • Assess physical medical issues and coordinate with staff for acute care needs.
  • Facilitate health and wellness groups and activities.
  • Deliver strength-based and solution-focused treatment interventions.
  • Assist clients with risk management, safety plans, and WRAP planning.

What it takes

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s degree).
  • Current LPN license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to provide quality care for physical and mental health needs.
  • One-year experience in an acute mental health or dual diagnosis setting (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Recovery oriented treatment (preferred).
