The role
The Lebanon National Reference Group (NRG) Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the NRG work in Lebanon, supporting the Core Group and Plenary, implementing the annual action plan, and facilitating meetings and policy advocacy.
What you'll do
- Support the Core Group in developing and implementing the NRG annual action plan
- Coordinate implementation of Core Group decisions and follow up on agreed action points
- Plan, organise, and facilitate monthly Core Group meetings and at least two Plenary meetings each year
- Support the development of Lebanon’s contributions to Grand Bargain Annual Meetings
- Act as the NRG’s default external representative
- Maintain a detailed annual workplan and update it regularly
What it takes
- University degree in humanitarian affairs, development studies, public policy, international relations, political science, social sciences, management, or another relevant field
- At least five years of relevant professional experience
- Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-stakeholder platforms
- Good understanding of the humanitarian and development context in Lebanon
- Experience preparing policy briefs, advocacy messages, reports, presentations, and meeting materials
- Experience engaging with local NGOs, INGOs, UN agencies, donors, and government institutions
