Action for Children is seeking a Lead Therapeutic Practitioner to work directly with children and young people, providing therapeutic interventions and training within the Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy model.
What you'll do
- Provide group/family and individual therapeutic interventions as required.
- Contribute to the assessment of children’s therapeutic needs and development/review of therapeutic plans.
- Support emotional containment of carers and professional networks around children with complex needs.

- Professional qualification in health, social care, youth and community work, teaching or a recognised therapy qualification.
- Experience of working therapeutically with families, professionals or children / young people.
- Awareness and knowledge of how children / young people form attachments and how children learn.
