The role

The IDB is seeking a Knowledge and Learning Senior Associate to focus on Data Coordination and Knowledge Architecture for Knowledge Management, with an emphasis on shaping and implementing a practical vision for knowledge graph architecture.

What you'll do

  • Maintain and evolve the IDB’s knowledge graph
  • Act as a focal point for system and data interoperability
  • Supervise reliable data transformations and flows between sources
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and reliability of data used across the knowledge management ecosystem
  • Advise on the use of data and technological approaches in addressing knowledge management challenges
  • Coordinate with IT Department and external vendors

What it takes

  • Master’s Degree in Information Architecture, Data Science, Semantic Technologies, Knowledge Management, or related technical discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in knowledge graph architecture, semantic technologies, RDF, OWL, SHACL, and linked data
  • Experience with graph databases (Neo4j, GraphDB, Stardog) and query languages such as Cypher and SPARQL
  • Expertise in developing taxonomies, ontologies, metadata schemas, controlled vocabularies, and classification frameworks
  • Experience in data extraction, transformation, integration, and analysis from databases, APIs, and other sources
  • Proficiency in Python and data/text processing tools
