The role

The Junior IT Repair Technician will provide IT support for SPARK Schools, including installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults, and managing network infrastructure.

What you'll do

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
  • Troubleshooting systems and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
  • Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues and user groups
  • Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs
  • Deployment of learner and staff devices

What it takes

  • Relevant IT qualification (A+ or N+ required)
  • Two (2) years experience in a Junior IT Repair Technician role (or similar)
  • Valid Driver’s license. Own reliable transport is advantageous.
