The role
The Junior Consultant - Programme Coordinator will provide technical, coordination, monitoring, reporting, analytical and knowledge-management support to strengthen the coherent implementation of UNEP’s Chemicals and Pollution Action Subprogramme.
What you'll do
- Support portfolio coordination, strategic planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting

- Provide guidance on IPMR workflows
- Develop planning and monitoring tools
- Contribute to the preparation of CPR and governance briefing materials
What it takes
- Master’s degree in environmental sciences, natural resources management, engineering, international development or a related field
- At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in programme coordination, strategic planning, monitoring and reporting
- Experience with development projects, environment, and developing country contexts is an asset
