The role
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Job Counselor to support the implementation of the Youth Empowerment and Self-Reliance project in Thessaloniki, Greece, focusing on employability activities and job readiness training for vulnerable youth.
What you'll do
- Organize needs assessment and service mapping activities
- Support project implementation through job readiness trainings
- Provide individual employment support/job counseling
- Ensure accurate data collection and reporting
- Coordinate with the team and participate in regular meetings
- Report to the Senior Livelihoods Manager
What it takes
- BA/BS Degree in social sciences, education, project management, or related certification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in training, employment support, counseling, or project management
- Experience supporting youth and refugees
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Fluency in both Greek and English
- Experience in conflict resolution is desirable
