The role

The IT Technical Support Consultant will assist with preparations for the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors, maintain inventory databases, troubleshoot hardware issues, and support SEC users.

Place orders and monitor purchases of equipment and supplies for the Annual Meeting
Update and maintain inventory database
Prepare shipment of equipment and supplies for the Annual Meeting
Organize SEC storage area
Research purchases of hardware and software for the Annual Meeting
Troubleshoot problems with hardware

What it takes

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineer
At least 2 years of progressive experience in IT and hardware administration
Proficiency in English and Spanish, spoken and written
Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable
Citizenship of one of the 48-member countries of the IDB
No family members working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab
