The role
Per Scholas is seeking a dynamic, team-oriented individual to serve as a full-time Instructor Assistant within the Detroit Training Department. The Instructional Assistant (IA) will play an important role in training Per Scholas learners to be outstanding entry-level technicians.
What you'll do
- Assist the lead instructor both in and out of class
- Grade and/or review assessments, class projects, and other materials
- Enter learner grades into Learning Management Systems software and grading templates
- Monitor class as it is in progress
- Manage cleanliness of classroom and tech equipment
- Note challenges presented during class
