The role

The incumbent will assist the Senior Investment Officer to manage and invest assets of the Fund in private equity and real assets markets, including conducting investment research, monitoring portfolio holdings, and preparing reports.

What you'll do

  • Assists the Senior Investment Officer to manage and invest assets of the Fund in private equity and real assets markets.
  • Conducts investment research through financial statements, market news, and other available information.
  • Monitors various portfolio holdings and conducts appropriate security analysis at the direction of the SIO.
  • Complies with risk control parameters as delineated in the investments Policy and Procedures Manual.
  • Contributes to specific investment recommendations to achieve optimum investment performance.
  • Assists in the preparation of reports accurately and timely.

What it takes

  • Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Business and Administration, Finance, Economics or related field is required.
  • A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in quantitative and qualitative investment analysis, portfolio management, and legal negotiations is required.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is desirable.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills are required.
  • Sound familiarity with valuation analysis as well as use of financial/informational tools such as Bloomberg, Pitchbook, etc. is required.
  • Ability to work under pressure accurately, efficiently, and effectively is required.
