The role

The Investigations Officer Consultant will assist with case assessments, online inquiries and investigations of allegations of misconduct. Duties include conducting OSINT activities, reviewing digital evidence, and providing investigative support.

What you'll do

  • Assist in the investigation of potential violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards
  • Conduct online inquiries and open-source intelligence (OSINT) activities
  • Review and analyze digital evidence
  • Provide investigative support to the Central Intake Unit

What it takes

  • Advanced university degree in law, policing, cybercrime investigations, criminal justice, criminology, digital investigations, journalism or related field
  • Formal training and/or certification in investigative, law enforcement, OSINT, digital evidence methodologies
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in investigatory work
  • Experience carrying out international investigation activities
