The role
The consultant will support Member States in integrating Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine (TCIM) into Primary Health Care and Integrated Service Delivery Networks, develop technical reports, coordinate regional activities, and prepare the Regional Strategic Plan for TCIM.
What you'll do
- Support Member States in integrating TCIM within PHC and IHSDNs.
- Coordinate regional consultations, webinars, and technical meetings.
- Develop technical reports, implementation guidance, and policy documents.
- Support collaboration with WHO Headquarters, Collaborating Centers, BIREME, and Member States.
What it takes
- At least 7 years of combined national and international experience in traditional and complementary medicine experiences in the Region of the Americas.
- Demonstrated experience in Primary Health Care, Integrated Health Service Delivery Networks, quality of care, and technical cooperation.
- Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English.
