The role

This consultancy involves designing strategies for expanding tuberculosis preventive therapy implementation across countries in the region, organizing virtual meetings, and preparing and implementing workshops.

What you'll do

  • Provide technical cooperation to expand TB contact tracing and preventive treatment implementation among high-risk populations
  • Support monitoring and progress on expanding TB contact tracing and preventive treatment in regional countries
  • Develop a regional technical cooperation strategy for expanding TB preventive therapy
  • Organize virtual subregional meetings on preventive treatment of contacts and people living with HIV
  • Prepare and implement two national workshops on expanding contact tracing and TB preventive treatment

  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine or related fields
  • Master's degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, or related fields
  • At least 9 years of combined national and international experience in TB and HIV
  • Experience designing, planning, and facilitating public health interventions
  • Project management, epidemiological analysis, technical support, monitoring and evaluation skills
  • Ability to organize visits, meetings, workshops, or events
