The role
The consultant will produce a strategic analysis of the current transit and transport situation on the Cotonou-Niamey corridor, formulate operational recommendations with an implementation roadmap to improve efficiency, reliability, fluidity, interoperability, and competitiveness.
What you'll do
- Elaborate a model manual of cost calculation for goods transportation vehicles
- Design and facilitate a training workshop on cost calculation for goods transportation vehicles
- Organize and facilitate an event to update the transit guarantee agreement and quadrilateral transport agreement from 2023
- Finalize the draft decree on transport and intermediation in consultation with relevant authorities
- Adapt legal frameworks applicable to CNFE and CNFT to ensure coherence of TTD activities
What it takes
- Master's degree in law or development economics
- At least 10 years of experience in transportation, transit, and trade facilitation
- Fluent written and spoken French
