International Consultant on early (child) marriages in Roma communities research

The role

The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights is seeking an International Consultant to conduct research on early and child marriage within Roma communities in Moldova. The consultant will develop methodologies, tools, and provide technical expertise while ensuring a human rights-based approach. They will be responsible for analyzing findings and presenting results to stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Develop research methodology including objectives, framework, and data collection methods
• Create research tools such as questionnaires and interview guides
• Validate and finalize methodology and tools with stakeholders
• Analyze, present, and disseminate findings of the research

What it takes

• First degree in sociology, social sciences, or human rights
• At least 3 years of professional experience in research methodology or human rights
• Proven experience in developing methodologies and data collection tools
• Experience in qualitative research methods
• Proven experience working with Roma communities
• Fluency in English
