The role

The consultant will design, coordinate, and supervise a national survey to evaluate reproductive health product and service availability, supply chain performance, family planning and emergency obstetric and neonatal care services in Niger.

What you'll do

  • Design and validate the methodology of the survey in collaboration with UNFPA, DGSR, and the reference committee.
  • Develop sampling plans, adapt and test data collection tools according to UNFPA Supplies Partnership standards.
  • Train and supervise enumerators and supervisors on data collection procedures and use of digital tools (SYSTMAPP/Kobo Collect).
  • Coordinate data collection, ensure quality control, process, analyze, and interpret results.
  • Evaluate the availability of reproductive health products, supply chain performance, family planning services, and emergency obstetric care services.

What it takes

  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as Pharmacy, Public Health, Logistics, Healthcare Management, Economics, Statistics or Demography.
  • At least five years of experience conducting studies or surveys.
  • Experience with electronic data collection (tablets, PDA, mobile phones, etc.).
  • Fluency in French and good knowledge of English.
  • Experience processing, managing, and analyzing data.
  • Proficiency in survey and data analysis software such as EPI Info, STATA, SPSS or equivalents.
