The role
The Photo Intern will directly report to UN Photo Unit under the overall guidance of the Chief of the Unit. The intern will contribute to the daily activities’ coverage and digital retouching of current coverage and archival images of the United Nations meetings.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the daily activities’ coverage and digital retouching of current coverage and archival images of UN meetings
- Train on using a DAM platform (Orange Logic) to upload and archive photographs with relevant metadata
- Assist with Social Media accounts as needed
What it takes
- Enrolled in or have completed a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher)
- Enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent)
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams
