The role

The internship in the International Trade and Integration Division of ECLAC, Santiago, Chile, will last 2 to 6 months, depending on the needs of the Office. Candidates may be selected throughout the posting period, on an ‘as-needed’ basis.

What you'll do

  • Researching, compiling and organizing information on projects, publications, technical cooperation activities and events
  • Drafting and editing website articles, news items, social media posts
  • Supporting the preparation and implementation of communication plans for publications, conferences, seminars and workshops
  • Preparing visual communication materials
  • Assisting with the dissemination of reports, policy briefs, statistical products and other knowledge products prepared by the Division
  • Supporting the organization and communication coverage of conferences, seminars, workshops and meetings

What it takes

  • Enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required
  • A field of study that is closely related to communication and outreach activities
