The role

The Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) is seeking an intern for the Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT) in New Delhi. The selected individual will support the implementation of communication strategies, produce multimedia content, and assist in organizing events and knowledge-sharing platforms. This internship provides hands-on experience in regional cooperation, sustainable development, and science and technology policy within the United Nations system.

What you'll do

  • Design and produce communication materials such as flyers, infographics, and social media visuals.
  • Draft and edit content for the APCTT website, newsletter, and social media channels.
  • Produce multimedia content, including short promotional video clips and event highlights.
  • Support the organization of conferences, hackathons, and capacity-building events.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and briefing documents for meetings.

What it takes

  • Completed a graduate degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • Excellent written communication and networking skills.
  • Good understanding of sustainable development and climate technology topics.
  • Proficiency in standard software including MS Office, Canva, and AI tools.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of an additional UN language is an advantage.
