The role

The UN System Chief Executives Board for Coordination (CEB) is seeking an intern to support the Secretariat in inter-agency coordination and policy analysis. The intern will conduct research on strategic issues such as sustainable development, global governance, and UN reform, while assisting with the preparation of high-level meetings. This role involves drafting communications, managing web content, and monitoring UN intergovernmental body activities. The internship is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to multilateral decision-making processes.

What you'll do

  • Monitor and analyze the work of UN intergovernmental bodies including the General Assembly.

  • Create and update content for the CEB corporate website.

What it takes

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a graduate program or final year of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Field of study in international relations, public administration, governance, or sustainable development.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and edit professional summaries.
  • Experience or exposure to UN system-wide coordination or policy-making is an asset.
