The role
World Relief is seeking an Intake and IDHS Specialist to conduct client intake, eligibility screening, enrollment, and orientation to available programs and services, assist with public benefits applications, provide case management, and serve as a liaison between clients and the Illinois Department of Human Services.
What you'll do
- Conduct client intake, eligibility screening, enrollment, and orientation to available programs and services
- Assist refugees, immigrants, and other eligible clients with applications, renewals, and case maintenance for public benefits programs
- Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate case management, benefits education, advocacy, interpretation, and translation
- Serve as a liaison between clients and the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS)
- Maintain accurate client records, case notes, reports, and program documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams, community partners, and government agencies

- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in immigrant case management or a related field
